Robert Frederick Chelsea Moore, plus connu sous le nom de Bobby Moore (né le 21 avril 1941 à Barking dans l'Essex - mort le 24 février 1993) était un footballeur anglais. Défenseur central, il a évolué à West Ham, Fulham, San Antonio Thunder, Seattle Sounders.



Bobby Moore compte 108 sélections en équipe d'Angleterre pour 2 buts marqués. Il a débuté face au Pérou juste avant le Mondial 1962 au Chili, n'a manqué que dix rencontres avec l'équipe d'Angleterre lors des dix années qui suivirent, et fut champion du monde en 1966 en Angleterre.

Bobby Moore est resté à West Ham pendant 16 saisons, jouant 544 rencontres de championnat. Il a ainsi remporté la FA Cup en 1964, et une Coupe d'Europe des vainqueurs de coupes en 1965 avec West Ham. Pelé le qualifia de « meilleur défenseur du monde » lors de la Coupe du Monde 1970.

Il est mort le 24 février 1993 à l'âge de 51 ans d'un cancer.

En 1981, Bobby Moore a joué aux côtés de Pelé et de Sylvester Stallone dans le film A nous la victoire (Escape to Victory) de John Huston.
